Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Review – Redmi India has already created hype around the Note 11 series after the huge success of the Note 10 series. Recently, the company unveiled the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T, which is the successor to yet another successful Redmi Note 10T phone. Furthermore, this phone will have features and characteristics almost similar to its brothers, Redmi Note 11 and Note 11T, and the same simplistic color variants are also included.

For now, the Redmi Note 11T is ready to be released on December 7th in India, and we have initial ideas about this phone along with its first impression, so be sure to follow through to see if the Note 11T is worth it buy an option or not. On the other hand, this 5G phone is currently exclusive to India, but sooner or later it will be viable in different markets with renamed names. With that said, let’s move towards a detailed review of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T smartphone.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Review

Highlights

  1. The device features a 6.6 inch IPS LCD panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate which provides proper IP 53 certification.
  2. The Redmi Note 11T phone will issue MIUI 12.5 custom layer based on Android 11 software abilities.
  3. The hardware section deals with the Dimensity 810 5G chipset and the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
  4. Plus, you’ll get a wide 50MP dual camera setup with a 16MP selfie camera on top.
  5. Lastly, the 5000 mAh battery powers the phone in less than 33W with fast charger support behind the scenes.

Design and Display

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T offers an impressive design layout similar to its siblings, but you’ll get different color options here. Equips other shade options, including Aquamarine Blue, Stardust White, and Matte Black. If you’re looking for an exciting deal, Aquamarine Blue is something you should be looking out for. The Black and White variant translates professional feelings.

Then you’ll get a bulky construction thanks to the input thickness of 8.8mm and weight of 195 grams that somehow gives it a heavy look. But that didn’t hurt the overall lift experience, as the weight control is done with precision. Plus, IP53 ratings and the side-mounted fingerprint reader have benefits. However, you won’t get a compact design.

On the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T, manufacturers will offer a standard 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel that offers decent color reproduction; although the phone doesn’t have advanced brightness support, you can still watch the content on the screen in broad daylight. In addition, the display section also offers additional advantages of a 90 Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution display, and Corning Glass protection. However, the screen is not as big as the AMOLED. But, overall colors and saturation are good.

Memory and Internal

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T’s performance review falls into the mid-range, although the phone is priced high. So, first of all, you can’t expect something exceptional from the start. You can continue playing at 40fps, including BIGM and Call of Duty, although some delays are seen in Genesis Impact. This experience can vary differently for each user, but overall the 6nm Dimensity 810 5G chipset makes everything manageable.

This chipset is compatible with Motorola G51’s Snapdragon 480 5G chip. However, both chips provide nearly similar powers while running. But, the graphic level is improved on the Redmi Note 11T, and along with that, the phone also supports the 5G connectivity that makes this device future-proof. It also offers decent customization features that bring out your creativity. At the basic level, you’re getting the default Android settings.

But things change with MIUI’s immersive customization. But, there is no denying that the interface is loaded with bloatware and adware. Still, the worst news to deliver is that there’s no secondary storage in the SIM tray, and if you’re buying the 4/64GB variant, you should think twice before installing any apps or files due to limited storage. On the other hand, the 6GB and 8GB RAM versions based on 128GB of space seem sufficient for normal use.

Camera

The Note 11 series’ image processing has been dramatically improved compared to previous generation phones. Although, there are some cost savings seen in the macro lens photos and videos. However, the analysis of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T camera did not rely solely on the macro. What’s needed is the primary camera setup where you’ll get a 50MP lens that holds everything accurately.

As far as the secondary camera unit is concerned, you get an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens that captures decent photos with fine detail. This completes the dual-camera setup, including the anesthetic camera port design. The 16 MP front selfie camera offers similar results as the main sensor. But, the color saturation looks a little off the chart. Also, the primary sensor renders warm colors with decent saturation.

Although the same quality cannot be seen in the other resources, video recording can only reach up to 1080p resolution. There are HDR features that further improvise the features of night mode. However, there is no information about video stabilization or OIS stabilization. In addition, the native camera app offers several nice features: professional mode, portrait mode, macro mode, HDR mode, and AI beauty mode will enhance the general features.

Battery and Others

In terms of battery performance, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T features a massive 5000 mAh battery that comes with a fast-charging speed of 33W at your service. With this setting, you can quickly get over 6 hours to watch your favorite web series, social media feeds, and browsing browsers. Furthermore, the phone will take less than an hour to supply the battery with accuracy from 100 to 100. At the same time, the device offers a USB Type-C 2.0 port.

The Note 11T provides additional features; you’ll get UFS 2.2 memory type, decent support for two speakers, infrared port, and high-level communications. Plus, you’ll get a dedicated 3.5mm jack port. Additionally, the device comes with a starting price of $226 (Rs 16,999 in India), while the higher variant costs around $264 (Rs 19,999 in India). In terms of specs, the phone is a great deal, but it looks like they’re forcing users to buy 25,000 INR.

Conclusion

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T phone comes with a robust battery, a high refresh rate screen, impressive 5G connectivity, and decent camera performance. Overall, this device is a great deal in the mid-range segment, and if you’re getting an online offer when purchasing the device, you should do so right away. But, consider that the basic variant doesn’t offer enough storage, so the superior variant becomes a standard choice.

If you’re thinking of buying a decent 5G mid-ranger, the Realme 8s 5G is also worth mentioning. It offers similar features, but this phone is not associated with Xiaomi Umbrella. We will do this if we have to recommend this device to you, except for the basic storage variant. In this review of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T, you get everything from our first impression of the camera’s features. So choose this phone after analyzing your needs and budget.
